Attending networking events and collecting contacts is absolutely crucial in the creative industries. I am still very new to the whole industry so I try to meet as many people as possible as well as work on my communication skills to get good contacts. Throughout the year, I was trying to attend a lot of these events. I’ve been to Eurosonic, Off The Record, Born to be Wide, UK Music event in Glasgow, Music Production Guild event in Glasgow and some other events which made my idea about music industry a lot more clearer. It made me realize what is possible to achieve and I learned what I should do to become a singer-songwriter.
Below you can find a list of important networking events, some of them I’ve already attended.
